So for those who haven't heard, I moved to Maryland! Wow! I"ve never thougth I'd say that in my life, but it's true!
Life here is better than I expected. First of all, Tyler is so excited to have this job and wishes he could tell me all about it when he gets home everyday, but alas he can't :( and you all are going to ask me who is works for and what does he do and all i will tell you and all that I will EVER know is that he does something with computers using his computer science degree! seriously, don't ask us cuz that's all we can tell you :)
the kids are so happy to be with their dad after being away for 2weeks. They also get all his attention when he gets home from work because there is no more homework to do!!!! yeah!!!
Corbin is getting smarter and smarter everyday and he gets to start Joyschool on the 31st! He also is working on using the big boy potty. I know i know he's too old to be wearing a diaper still but I can't get this boy to tell me when he has to go potty. I've tried a lot of different things too, i' m so discouraged.
He also loves spiderman and other superheroes right now. He got Legos from gma Kathy and loves loves loves them. Transformers are also a big hit with him!
Ayla, our little monkey sissy face bebe! She's 18months now and gets to go to nursery, she loves it and I love going to class finally! She loves Dora and Diego. She tells us want to do all the time, she's so bossy :) she will even disagree with what I choose to dress her in sometimes and cry and cry until i take the clothes off. She is such a copy cat, she does everything Corbin does! which can be a little scary sometimes because Corbin can be such a punk. She carries around her afghan I made for her when she was a baby. and of course, she still loves her Binky. She also loves playing the itouch and knows what games she wants to play, it's pretty cool to see her play it. SHE IS SO SMART. She understands all sorts of things I ask or tell her to do. her favorite thing to do is play in the tub, she will get in the tub 6 times a day if i let her!
I"m doing better than expected. Honestly, i haven't even cried yet. I do get teary-eyed when i think that i can't just drive a few hours to see my friends and family. But, i just don't think about that :) I keep myself busy with the new friends and activities i have. I've been so impressed with our new ward. I never thought my last ward could out do any other, but i'm glad to say my new ward does! From the very first day I felt welcomed and included. this whole week has been filled with play dates and girl's nights and facebook conversations. I just feel content. That feeling is hard for me to achieve.
Let's see...... other things i don't want to forget. Oh! everybody here drives a new car, seriously they do. This state has crazy regulations so i'm pretty sure that's why. But i feel so silly in gheto van :) don't get me wrong it runs just fine and i'm so glad to not to have car payments. But, it looks like we will be getting a new car here in a month or two :)
Our apartments great, Tyler did a good job finding a very nice, safe place for us to live. It has a nice pool for the kids, too! Haven't met any neighbors yet, I never see any of them. But i'm sure with time I will.
we don't have our household stuff yet. That was a big headache I don't want to relive, but hopefully it gets here soon and it's not damaged or anything crazy happens.
I wish i had more free time to explore the area and go sight seeing. I just have to relax i guess and Take one weekend at a time.It really is pretty here with all the trees. It's rained a lot in the last week, so hopefully that goes away. I'm used to the dry desert, so rain is a little weird.
anyway, I 'm loving my new adventure and hope all of my family and friends will one day come out and visit!!!!
